No — the EQS is a fully electric vehicle and in its standard rear-wheel-drive form it has no propshaft at all, as power goes directly from the rear electric motor to the rear axle without a mechanical driveshaft running the length of the car. The 4MATIC all-wheel-drive variants do have a front axle driven by a second electric motor, but this is achieved through a separate front drive unit rather than a conventional propshaft connecting front and rear axles as you would find on a petrol or diesel car. If your EQS has a driveline noise or vibration fault, the part you are most likely looking for is a driveshaft (also called a half-shaft), which transfers drive from each motor to its respective wheel. Confirm the exact component with a breaker who can look up your registration, as the terminology between propshaft and driveshaft is easy to confuse.
Almost certainly not — the Mercedes-Benz EQS does not use a propshaft in the traditional sense, so if a listing or quote refers to one it may be using the wrong terminology. The EQS is a single generation model that launched in 2021 with no established major facelift boundary within the 2022–2023 period, so driveshafts from those years are generally likely to be from the same specification — but you must also match the drivetrain variant, as a rear-wheel-drive EQS driveshaft will not be the same component as one from a 4MATIC model. Motor output also varies across the range, so confirm the exact motor designation and whether the shaft is front or rear, NS or OS, against your registration with the breaker before purchasing. Never assume fitment without that cross-check.
Trim level alone does not determine fitment, but the AMG EQS 53 is a meaningfully different vehicle to a standard EQS 450+ or 580 because it uses a higher-output dual-motor 4MATIC+ drivetrain with different torque characteristics, which can mean different driveshaft specifications. Standard AMG Line cosmetic trim on a non-AMG EQS does not change the drivetrain components, so a driveshaft from an AMG Line car and a standard-trim car of the same motor variant should be equivalent. Always confirm against your full registration with the breaker rather than relying on trim name alone, as internal component differences between motor variants matter more than badging here.
