For the E89 generation, engine and trim level do not affect which front bumper you need — the bodywork is shared across the sDrive18i, sDrive20i, sDrive28i, and sDrive35i variants. The Z4 M Sport trim is a styling package rather than a separate body, though it may include different bumper inserts, splitters, or air-intake finishes, so visually you may notice cosmetic differences even if the core panel fits. The G29 generation runs from 2018 onwards and the front bumper is broadly shared across model years within this generation, making G29-to-G29 fitment the right starting point.
