Cheap BMW M2 Fog Light

The BMW M2 has not been fitted with front fog lights as standard across its production history — BMW opted for a sportier front bumper design without fog light housings, and the M2 was not offered with fog lights as a factory option in the way many mainstream BMW models were. If you think you have a fog light on your M2, it is possible the car has had an aftermarket bumper or a different bumper variant fitted, so it is worth double-checking your front bumper visually before ordering. What you may actually be looking for is the front bumper itself, the lower bumper grille or trim inserts, or the daytime running light (DRL) units which are genuinely fitted to the M2.

The BMW M2 (F87) ran from 2016 to 2021, and front fog lights were not a standard factory fitment on any year of this model, so there is no genuine OEM fog light to cross-reference between years. If your car has a fog light housing, this is likely the result of a non-standard bumper being fitted at some point in the car's life. Speak to a breaker who specialises in BMW M cars and describe exactly what you can see on your bumper — they will be best placed to identify what part you actually need.

The M2 Competition (introduced 2018) shared the same F87 platform and broadly similar front bumper architecture as the standard M2, but neither variant was factory-fitted with front fog lights as standard. Trim level does not affect fog light fitment here simply because the part does not exist as a standard item on either car. If you are sourcing a bumper or lower trim piece from a breaker, confirm with them whether the bumper style matches your car's specific spec, as there can be cosmetic differences between the standard M2 and Competition front ends.

The second-generation BMW M2, the G87 (launched 2023), also does not feature traditional front fog lights as part of its standard factory specification, continuing BMW's approach of integrating lighting functions into the main headlight and DRL units. If your G87 appears to have something in the lower bumper aperture, it is more likely a brake cooling duct, lower grille insert, or a similar trim piece rather than a fog light. A breaker will be able to help you identify the correct part if you describe what is missing or damaged on your bumper.

Although the M2 (F87) is broadly related to the F3x BMW family, the M2 uses its own unique front bumper with different dimensions and apertures, so fog lights from a standard F30 3 Series or F32 4 Series will not directly swap in. More importantly, the M2 has no fog light housing in its standard front bumper to receive such a part, making this a moot point in most cases.
