Does the Nissan Interstar actually have a coil pack?
No — the Nissan Interstar is a diesel-only van (sharing its platform and engines with the Renault Master and Vauxhall Movano), and diesel engines use compression ignition rather than spark ignition, so they have no coil pack, spark plugs, or HT leads at all. If your Interstar has a misfire, rough running, or ignition-related fault code, the components to investigate are the glow plugs and glow plug relay, fuel injectors, or the fuel system rather than any ignition coil. I've been told to replace the ignition coil on my Interstar — could the garage mean something else?

The 'dCi' badge itself confirms common-rail diesel injection, which is entirely incompatible with a coil pack. Could a coil pack from a Renault Master or Vauxhall Movano fit my Interstar, since they share the same platform?
