The Ford Ka was never factory-fitted with a roof rack as a standard or optional accessory through Ford, and unlike the Fiesta or Focus it was not designed with roof rails or dedicated mounting points to accept one. Some aftermarket universal roof rack systems claim compatibility using door-frame clamps, but these are aftermarket accessories rather than parts sourced from a dismantled Ka. Because of this, a used-parts breaker will not have a factory roof rack to sell you for a Ka — the part simply does not exist in the way a bonnet or door mirror would.
No Ford Ka variant — including the original Ka (1996–2008), the Ka Mk2 (2008–2016), or the Ka+ (2016–2019) — was offered with factory-fitted roof rails or a roof rack by Ford UK. This applies across all trim levels including Studio, Style, Zetec and SE. If you have seen a Ka with a roof rack fitted, it will have been an aftermarket addition by a previous owner, not a genuine factory-supplied part.
You would need to look at universal aftermarket roof bar systems designed for bare roofs, which attach using rubber feet and door-frame hooks — brands such as Thule, Halfords or Rhino Racks offer these. Check the specific product's vehicle compatibility list for your Ka's generation and body style, as fitting points differ between the original Ka three-door hatch and the Ka+ five-door. A breaker will not be able to help here, but a motor accessories retailer or the rack manufacturer's fit guide will point you in the right direction.
It is possible but uncommon — breakers generally dismantle and sell parts that were fitted to a vehicle, so if a Ka came in with an aftermarket rack attached a breaker might list it. However, it would not be a Ka-specific part and fitment to your car would depend entirely on the aftermarket brand and model of that rack, not on which Ka it came from. You would need to identify the rack's make and model and verify its compatibility yourself before buying.
