A 2016 500X is pre-facelift and a 2019 is post-facelift, so these are different bumper designs and the parts are not a straight swap. Trim level does not affect the core bumper shell either, so a bumper from a base Pop Star or a higher Cross or Sport trim will fit the same shell, though you may find cosmetic differences such as lower spoiler inserts, trim finishers or fog-lamp bezels that differ between grades and may need to be swapped over. The key question for your breaker is simply the facelift period — pre-2018 or 2018-onwards — not the trim name.

The bumper shell itself fits regardless of the headlight type on the donor car, but the apertures and surround detailing around the lights can differ between halogen and LED or bi-xenon setups on the 500X. You should confirm with the breaker that the bumper from their car matches the headlight type fitted to yours, as mixing these can leave gaps or misaligned finishers. Always quote your registration so the breaker can check the specific variant.

As with the front, the 2018 facelift changed the rear bumper design on the 500X, so pre-facelift (2014–2017) and post-facelift (2018-onwards) rear bumpers are different parts. Stick to a donor car from the same facelift period as yours for a reliable fit. If you are unsure which side of the 2018 boundary your car or the donor car falls on, give your registration to the breaker and ask them to confirm before purchasing.

The bumper is generally supplied as a complete front assembly from a breaker, so the donor car's facelift period must match yours — pre-2018 or 2018-onwards — for the overall shape and mounting points to align correctly. Minor colour or finish differences between trim levels are common on used parts and can usually be addressed when respraying.
