Fitment on a used coil pack varies by vehicle, so a bit of detail goes a long way. Our request form covers what breakers need to know, so every quote you get back is for the correct part:
The Fiat Scudo has been sold almost exclusively with diesel engines throughout its production life, and diesel engines do not use coil packs — ignition coils are a petrol-engine component. If your Scudo has a diesel engine, which is almost certainly the case, a coil pack is not a part that exists on your vehicle. You may be thinking of a glow plug, glow plug relay, or fuel injector — confirm with a breaker or mechanic what you actually need.
It is very likely there has been a mix-up in terminology, as the Fiat Scudo range was built around diesel engines that have no ignition coil pack at all. Glow plugs are the diesel equivalent in terms of aiding cold starts, and these are a common misfire-related repair on the Scudo. Check your V5 or run a VIN check to confirm your engine code, then describe your symptoms to a breaker — they will quickly identify whether you need glow plugs, injectors, or another component.
The first-generation Fiat Scudo ran from 1995 to 2006 and was powered by diesel engines throughout its UK production run, so no coil pack was ever fitted to these vehicles either. There was no petrol variant offered in the UK market for this generation that would require an ignition coil pack. A breaker dealing in Scudo parts will be able to point you toward the correct ignition or engine component for your fault.
The second-generation Scudo, produced from 2007 onwards as a joint platform with the Citroën Dispatch and Peugeot Expert, was again exclusively diesel-powered in the UK market, so no coil pack applies here either. Whether your van is an early 2007 example or a later model, the absence of a petrol engine means there is no coil pack to source. If you are experiencing misfiring or rough running, speak to a breaker about glow plugs, injectors, or the EGR system as more likely culprits.
Trim level makes no difference here, because the reason no coil pack exists on the Scudo is down to the engine type, not the specification level. Whether your Scudo is a basic panel van or a higher-specification Combi passenger model, all UK variants used diesel engines that do not have coil packs. Focus on identifying your engine code from the V5, as that will help a breaker find you the correct fuel system or ignition-adjacent component.
