A 2006 pre-facelift fog light and a 2010 post-facelift fog light may therefore differ in shape or fitting. You should confirm with the breaker whether the specific unit they have will match your registration, as this is the key boundary to watch.

Engine choice has no effect on fog light fitment on the Brera — the front bumper and fog light positions are shared across all engine variants within the same facelift period. A fog light from a 2.2 JTS car is the same unit as on a 3.2 V6 or a 2.4 JTDm diesel, provided both cars are from the same facelift period. Focus your check on the model year relative to the 2007 facelift, not on engine type.

The 2007 facelift is the key boundary here, and a 2007 car could be either a late pre-facelift or an early post-facelift example depending on when in the year it was built. Because of this overlap, you should not assume a 2007 donor car's fog light matches your 2008 car without checking — ask the breaker to confirm the unit against your registration to be sure you get the correct facelift specification.

Trim level does not affect fog light fitment on the Brera — units are shared across trim variants including Q4 four-wheel-drive models within the same facelift period. The Q4 drivetrain and any trim-specific badging or interior differences have no bearing on what fog light sits in the front bumper. Bear in mind that some higher-specification cars may have had different surround finishes cosmetically, so check the appearance matches before buying.

The safest approach is to give the breaker your full registration number and let them identify the correct part from their vehicle records, rather than relying on year alone. Pre-facelift Breras (2005–2006) and post-facelift cars (2007–2010) had different front bumper designs, so the fog light shape and mounting points can differ. A reputable breaker will be able to confirm whether the unit from their dismantled car matches your specification before you commit to buying.
