However, ancillary bracket and pipe routing changes can occur mid-production without a formal facelift, so you should confirm the exact engine code and check with the breaker against both registration numbers before buying.

The intercooler itself is part of the induction system and is not directly linked to gearbox type, so gearbox configuration does not affect intercooler fitment. What matters is that the engine codes match between donor and recipient vehicle. Confirm this with the breaker using your engine code, and the gearbox difference should not be a concern for this particular part.
