Trim level alone does not determine brake servo fitment on the BMW X3; what matters is the generation (E83, F25, or G01) and engine size, as larger or more powerful engines can carry a bigger braking system. M Sport models share the same servo specification as other trims of equivalent engine, though cosmetic underbonnet differences may mean minor ancillary components look different — the breaker can confirm the exact unit against your reg.
Petrol and diesel variants of the same generation can share a brake servo, but this is not always the case — engine size and output influence the brake system specification, so a large petrol like the xDrive35i and a smaller diesel like the xDrive20d may not share the same servo. The G01 generation runs from 2017 onwards and parts can vary across its production run, so a servo from a 2017 car is not automatically confirmed to fit a 2019 car without checking.
