Trim level alone — whether your car is an SE, Sport, xLine, M Sport, or any other trim — does not affect which subframe you need, as the subframe is part of the running gear rather than the cosmetic package. The F15 generation ran from 2013 to 2018, and subframes within this generation are broadly expected to be compatible, but it is worth being aware that running gear components can sometimes see quiet mid-production updates that are not officially flagged as a new model. Confirm with the breaker that the donor vehicle's registration and engine specification closely match yours before purchasing. This is particularly important if your car has any non-standard suspension setup.

Engine size and configuration can influence subframe specification, particularly where different power outputs or drivetrain configurations are involved, so a subframe from a four-cylinder donor is not automatically interchangeable with one from a six-cylinder car even within the same generation. Always tell the breaker your exact engine size and fuel type so they can match the donor vehicle as closely as possible. Do not rely on generation alone as the sole guide when engine variants differ significantly.
