The 2014 car is a pre-facelift F22/F23, while the 2018 car sits after the 2017 facelift, so these two sit either side of the facelift boundary. The bonnet panel itself may be dimensionally similar, but changes to the front end at the 2017 facelift mean you should confirm directly with the breaker whether it will interchange cleanly on your specific registration. Trim level does not affect which bonnet fits on the F22/F23 2 Series — the panel is the same across Sport, M Sport, Luxury and other trim grades. What can differ is the finish and any associated badges or trim strips, so if your car has a specific colour or a bonnet-mounted badge detail, mention that to the breaker when requesting a quote. The bonnet itself will fit regardless of trim.

Both the Coupe (F22) and Convertible (F23) sit on the same platform and share the same front-end structure, so the bonnet is common across those two body styles within the F22/F23 generation. The facelift boundary in 2017 remains the key question, so confirm the exact model year of the donor car with the breaker against your registration to be sure.

The BMW 2 Series F22/F23 and the contemporary 1 Series F20/F21 are related platforms but have different front-end designs, and the bonnets are not the same part.
